I had to go out today, to an employment agency, despite my sprain. Earth went out first, in the morning, so I caught a cab instead of a bus. The agency I signed with today is a specialist agency for people with or recovering from disabilities. Since I feel uncomfortable jumping back into a position involving dealing with large crowds all at once, Centrelink referred me to this company. They will help me find work or training to change my career.
Since I was in the city anyway, I hobbled up to the post office to pay the electricity and post some books for the OzVBB. I was going to buy a prepay 500g satchel but the two books I wanted to post came to 530g, so I bought the 3kg satchel and added a few more books. A nice surprise for the lucky recipient.
I then popped into Crazy Clarks and The Red Cross Shop to buy Storm’s B’day presents, and the Real Estate to pay the rent.
I was in considerable pain by then, so I caught a cab home.
I hope tomorrow is a bit less hectic!
