All Gone :-(

technical difficulties

technical difficulties (Photo credit: Key Foster)

Our damn computer crashed again this week and Earth ended up doing a rescue. Now I’ve lost all my files. Some of them are a real pain in the backside but can be replaced with hard work – like my bookcrossing challenge release pics, my release records, book covers and my homemade bookcrossing labels.

Others are very upsetting, though, because they are irreplaceable. For example photos of my kids and artwork and pictures that were scanned on the computer but no longer in my possession. If we could only have waited a few more days, I could have bought disks to save everything on, but no, as usual my luck did not hold and the computer completely froze, preventing us from waiting another minute.

Needless to say, I am still quite distressed!
