I can’t be bothered writing a full blog post on this, so I’m just going to copy and paste my tweets:

The first political dissent site has been shut down. Australia is now officially a fascist state. #nocleanfeed #fb about 10 hours ago from txt

Wake up people!Comrade Rudd wants 2 turn us into his beloved China. What does he have 2 do b4 you all pull your heads out of the sand? #fb about 10 hours ago from txt

If Rudd is doing this now, what can we expect from internet censorship?Wake up & smell the fascism! It isn’t about pedophiles! #nocleanfeed #fb about 10 hours ago from txt

I understand your reluctance. I really do. As a parent I, too fear the consequences of speaking out. I fear silence more. #fb about 10 hours ago from txt

All those people who swear that if timetravel were invented they would kill hitler before he did so much damage are talking out their ass. about 1 hour ago from txt

Those same people are refusing to even speak out against Rudd. about 1 hour ago from txt

P.S. I am *NOT* asking for people to kill Rudd. Just to demand his resignation. about 1 hour ago from txt

Please Australia. Stand up for yourselves! Write to your pollies. Call them. Email them. Harass them in every legal way. Keep it polite though, OK? You won’t help the cause by being abusive. Express your dismay, and call for your local member to break Labor Party rules and cross the floor on this issue.

It would also be great if you could participate in the Great Australian Internet Blackout on the 25th – 29th January. Also if there is an Australia Day protest in your area, please, please, please join in.

Also, don’t vote blindly at the next election. Even if you have been a Labor voter all your life, surely this issue is important enough to vote differently this once.
