The other day, I released a heap of books at the Pilbeam Theatre. I was pleasantly surprised this evening when I checked my email. One of the books I released has already been caught! This is my first catch in ages, so I am quite pleased. In fact, it is amazing how much a catch can really lift your mood. It occurs so infrequently that is like a rare and precious gift when it does happen. This catch is even more pleasing because the person actually joined BookCrossing! Here’s hoping for another active member in my area.

The book that was caught was Jude the Obscure by Thomas Hardy and the journal can be read here:

This brings my catch rate to 4.70%. Awesome.
