When drawing an anime character, one of the most important features is the eyes. They convey the character, personality and mood of the character in question. When it comes to anime eyes most Anime Otaku have their favourites, their pet peeves and their oh-my-god-I-just-can’t-stop-looking-at-them moments.

In general, I tend to dislike giant Moe eyes on adult characters, though they can be cute on small children and animals. My preference tends towards eyes with unusual or unique colours or characteristics, and eyes that have a serious or captivating quality.
