Chocolate Crackles

Chocolate Crackles

Chocolate crackles are a staple of Australian school fetes and are generally popular with the kids. The recipe below is the most common, but my kids prefer my adjusted recipe. Unfortunately, I have temporarily misplaced my recipe book. When I locate it, though, I will post the better recipe as well.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Rice Bubbles
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • 3 Tbsp cocoa
  • 250 g copha

Method

  • Mix the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl
  • Melt the copha over a low heat, stirring constantly.
  • Add the copha to the dry ingredients and mix well
  • Spoon the mixture into patty cases and refrigerate to set.
