30 Day Fanfic Challenge – Day 12

A book/movie/game you sought out for the first time after reading a good fan-fiction

I actually have three and a half answers for this question. The first is Supernatural. I never really had any interest in watching this show until after I began reading Harry Potter/Supernatural fan-fiction stories. However, I grew to love the characters and have since begun watching the TV series.

My second answer is Alex Rider. I’ve never been into the whole spy genre, especially teen spies. After reading 10th Man Down on the recommendation of my daughter, I decided to give this series a go. I have since seen the movie Stormbreaker, and I am gradually collecting the book series, which I will read once I have them all.

Next on my list would be Hellraiser. I read a Harry Potter/Hellraiser crossover called Evil Be Thou My Good and I enjoyed it so much, I decided to watch the Hellraiser films. I haven’t managed to do so yet because I want to watch them in order and I’m having a bit of trouble getting hold of the original movie.

Finally, the half is a reference to The Walking Dead. I watched, and enjoyed, season one of The Walking Dead, but gave up during season two. It just felt like season two was every other American soapie, but with Zombies. Reading Harry Potter/Walking dead crossovers has rekindled my enthusiasm for the program, though, so I’m planning to give it another go.
